A huge former warehouse has gone up for sale in Oxford but rather than working in it, you could live in it.
The warehouse in Green Street is being marketed by Savills for a cool £1,695,000 and is set across 7575 sq ft.
The warehouse is the former home of Green Street Bindery, bookbinders and other restorers of note.

Nowadays, the warehouse is a unique contemporary living space for two separate dwellings, which comes which secure parking spaces.
The building is described as having an understated, industrial look with a red brick exterior and dark aluminium windows.
This subtle exterior hides the large space within Savills has referred to as a “blank canvas” presenting “total free rein as to the internal design”.
There is a lot of natural light to play with in the building, which comes from the glazed roof panels and windows at either end of the building.
The huge internal space is set across two floors and is comprised of a ground floor space with a first floor studio space to the one end.
The ground floor is open to the eaves with wooden and steel a-frames and trusses.
Both units have separate pedestrian and garage access off the road with secure, internal parking.
The existing internal walls are studded, therefore re-configuring existing space would be straightforward for a buyer.
Both units also have separate title deeds and services are supplied separately.
The ground floor currently has a kitchen, utility room, shower room, cloakroom, two bedrooms (one with en-suite WC) and boot room.
The remainder of the space is open plan which Savills describes as having “limitless options”, such as the opportunity to create a further mezzanine loft space.
There is a pedestrian front door and large outward opening wooden doors enabling secure off street parking at the front of the building in an area separated by an internal roller shutter.
The first floor is accessed by its own front door and roller shutter which gives access to the garage with parking for one car on the ground floor.
A wide metal, open tread staircase then rises to the first floor. Presently it is used as a studio apartment with open plan kitchen/living/sleeping space with a shower room.
There is a storage room off the parking area and a door connects through to the ground floor unit.
