THE YARD — Some dogs fight going outside, and some dogs fight going inside, and some might do either depending on their mood.
If a dog doesn't want to go outside, it may give you the dreaded "puppy dog eyes" or pretend it doesn't hear you as it lies on the couch. If a dog doesn't want to come inside, it may yowl in high complaint or flop on the ground, refusing to move.
But then you have Tasha. She definitely doesn't want to come into the house, but she has her own hilarious way of handling things.
In this video, Tasha's owner is calling her from the house, trying to get her to come to him.
"Tasha, where are you? Tasha!" He calls into an empty backyard. But as soon as the sliding door closes, there is movement. Little Tasha's head pops up to peer over the large flower pot she's hiding behind.
As soon as the "whoosh" of the sliding door sounds again, Tasha is back behind the planter, out of sight. It's the perfect crime as far as the pup is concerned. "But maybe," you're saying to yourself, "it's a fluke and that dog isn't all that funny, it's just a coincidence."
False. She plays her perfect prank thrice in the video, and it gets funnier every time her pointy little ears pop over the pot.
It's clear that she's a smart and delightful dog. But it's just too bad that she's not smart enough to understand that even though she can't see her people from her side of the window, her people can certainly see her. And we'll always be grateful that those all-seeing house people posted their comical dog's antics on the internet.
