A 35-year-old Frazee woman was cited after her garbage burn pile spread to an adjacent property, causing a large grass fire. A nearby vacant structure suffered siding damage. No injuries. The case remains under investigation. 4:07 p.m., near Ogema, phone threats reported. 4:56 p.m., near County Road 11 and County Road 138, Audubon, motor vehicle-bicycle crash. A 68-year-old rural Audubon man suffered minor head and shoulder injuries after he collided with a vehicle while riding an electric bicycle. The man was transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes. 6:59 p.m., near Menards, Detroit Lakes, suspected drugs were found in a small bag. 7:27 p.m., near Osage, assault. A 77-year-old Osage woman “snuck up behind” a 71-year-old Osage woman and struck her in the back of the head. No injuries reported. No medical transport needed. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the incident. 7:31 p.m., near Lake Street and Oak Avenue, Frazee, a caller reported a group of juveniles were “messing” with stakes at a construction site. The group denied causing any damage.

10:18 a.m., near Lori Avenue, Detroit Lakes, email scam reported. The caller said they wired more than $30,000 to the scammer through a local bank. 10:24 a.m., near Frazee, illicit photograph sent to the caller's phone. 11:48 a.m., near Kris Street, Detroit Lakes, malfunctioning railway crossing arm. 1:19 p.m., near Detroit Lakes, fatal medical. A 78-year-old rural Detroit Lakes man struck a tree while operating a riding lawnmower. First responders reported his neck was against the tree. CPR was performed at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead. 1:36 p.m., near Lake Avenue, Detroit Lakes, domestic incident. 1:45 p.m., near County Road 25, Detroit Lakes, gate damaged at a rental property. The damage may have been caused by a vehicle. 2:39 p.m., near Lake Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a 66-year-old man became unruly in a courtroom. 3:18 p.m., at Walmart, Detroit Lakes, trespassing. 5:59 p.m., near Ogema, verbal harassment was reported. A protection order was obtained by the caller. 8:58 p.m., near Highway 87, Frazee, multiple outbuildings reported on fire, under supervision of owners. 10:39 p.m., near Frazee, a 31-year-old Frazee woman struck a 32-year-old Frazee man repeatedly. No injuries reported. The woman was arrested.

1:22 a.m., near Park Lake Boulevard, Detroit Lakes, a rock was thrown through a vehicle window. 1:23 a.m., near Woodlane Lane, Detroit Lakes, a 47-year-old Moorhead woman fell off the 6-foot water slide at the Munson Lake community raft. She suffered a possible back injury. The woman was transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes. 9:31 a.m., near County Road 34, Ogema, engine damage reported to a boat parked roadside and listed “for-sale.” 10:55 a.m., at Walmart, Detroit Lakes, a pickup truck struck a parking lot barrier. 11:01 a.m., near Park Lake Boulevard, Detroit Lakes, pontoon vandalized. A fire extinguisher was discharged on-board and various items were stolen, or moved. 11:12 a.m., near County Road 17, Detroit Lakes, rear window broken in a conversion van. 12:49 p.m., near Valley View Road, Frazee, a man dove from a dock and hit his head. The man was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment. 1:01 p.m., near Summit Avenue and Holmes Street, Detroit Lakes, two-vehicle crash. No injuries. 3:15 p.m., near County Road 34, Ogema, assault. A 43-year-old Mahnomen man struck a 48-year-old Ogema man. The Ogema man was reportedly bleeding from the head. The Mahnomen man was arrested at a different location. 4:34 p.m., near Frazee Street and McKinley Avenue, Detroit Lakes, two-vehicle crash. No injuries. 5:57 p.m., near Detroit Lakes, a caller reported their debit card had been compromised and used in Detroit Lakes.

9:33 a.m., near County Road 25 and Sunset Road, Detroit Lakes, single-vehicle crash. A 16-year-old male driver said he fell asleep at the wheel and struck a tree. He denied medical attention at the scene. 11:13 a.m., near Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, motorcycle-vehicle crash. The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old Frazee man, suffered neck and leg injuries, and was wearing full safety gear at the time of the crash, according to an emergency dispatcher report. The other driver, a 54-year-old Detroit Lakes woman, also suffered undisclosed injuries. Both were transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes for treatment. 3:18 p.m., near Ladoux Road, Ponsford, small fire reported. 4:44 p.m., near 350th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, thieves may have accessed property through a sliding glass door. They stole various prescription drugs and an old iPhone 8. 5:22 p.m., near Indy 500 Road, Frazee, a storage trailer was reported on fire. Extinguished after about 80 minutes by Frazee firefighters. 8:21 p.m., near Detroit Lakes, phone harassment was reported. A harassment-restraining-order was advised. 8:48 p.m., near Perham, a phone and undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
